How many kids can I have at the party?
Each party includes the birthday child and 5 guests, for a total of 6 children. You have the option of adding up to 4 additional guests, for a total of 10 children.
How long is a party?
Parties are an hour and a half. We reserve 20-30 minutes of that time for cake and presents. The remaining hour is used for all the fun activities we have planned!
How much do the parties cost?
$125 for up to 6 children. Each child over the included 6, up to the maximum of 10, is $5 per child. For example: If you have a party for your child and 6 friends show up (total of 7 children), you will pay $125, plus $5, for a total of $130.
When do I pay for the party?
When you schedule the party, we will take a $50 non-refundable deposit. This holds the date and gets our planning process started. Once the party is finished, we will charge you for the remainder of the party, plus any amount for the number of kids that attended over the included 6 kids.
What happens to my deposit if I need to cancel?
Your deposit is non-refundable, but we know things are bound to happen. In the event of a cancellation, we will reschedule the party, or give store credit for the deposit amount. Your credit can be used for products or other workshops, or even a birthday party the following year.
What is included in the cost?
We provide all the setup, clean up, planning, and direction of all activities. All supplies we use in the party are covered, as well as basic decorations and tableware.
What do I bring?
Yourself, the birthday kiddo, the friends, and any food or presents you wish to have at the party.
Can I bring food besides cake? Do I have to use approved vendors, or can I bring my own?
Yes, please bring any food you like! Especially for a party that is around a mealtime, you are more than welcome to bring something besides cake. We’ve even had people get delivery pizza. All we ask is that you do not bring red juice. And no, we do not have any vendors you must use. Many of our own staff has issues with allergies and food insensitivities, and we recognize that lots of kids do too, so we do not restrict what kinds of food or where it comes from.
What kids of themes are available?
We typically do custom themes. Every child is different, and we want to give them the best experience possible. We have done everything from LEGO® to Under the Sea to Arts & Crafts to Shopkins to Unicorns. If there is something your child is really into, talk to us about it, and we’ll see what we can come up with.
Can I do a custom theme?
Of course! We love to know what you want. Occasionally there are themes we cannot do, but we do our best to handle every request. We are also happy to come up with something if your child doesn’t have a request. We can also customize the party to include a specific activity if your child really wants a particular activity.
What kinds of activities do you do at your parties?
We plan our activities to fit the theme and the age of the child. We’ve done scavenger hunts in the store, pin the brick on the LEGO Minifigure, watercolor painting, made slime and more. We try to make sure that at least a couple activities include an end result that the children can take home with them.
Can I bring balloons? My own decorations?
Of course! We will provide basic streamers in colors that relate to the theme, or are favorite colors of the birthday kiddo. But if you have something specific you want, please feel free to bring it along. Of course, the caveat to that is nothing illegal or severely scary to children.
When are parties scheduled?
Parties can be scheduled any day of the week, though weekends are the most popular. We can schedule a party to start any time between 10 and 4 Monday-Saturday, or a start time between 12:30 and 3 on Sundays. Because our party room is also our Events room, if we are holding another workshop or event we will have some unavailable times.
How soon do I need to schedule?
As soon as you know when you want to hold the party, but no later than two weeks before the party is to be. The sooner you schedule, the more likely it is to receive the date and time you would ideally like, or your first backup date.
