Pretend Play

Playing pretend is a wonderful way for children to learn about the world around them. By problem-solving through different scenarios, some from their own lives and some from the other side of the galaxy, kids develop the courage to take on real-life problems. Role playing is also a way kids build their emotional intelligence. By putting themselves in another person’s shoes, literally or figuratively, children develop stronger empathy and understanding.
